LaRue County Schools Opens Online Registration for Next School Year

Learning never takes a day off for the LaRue County School system. While the 2023-24 school year comes to a close, district leadership is already preparing for an exciting 2024-25 school year.

To ensure that families across the county are also ready, the front office staff at each school are working to make sure students and families are set for success next year before summer break starts.

LaRue County Schools administrators know that planning ahead benefits both students and faculty. By registering children now, area families give the district time to appropriately plan teacher and classroom arrangements. This gives teachers and staff the chance to lay the foundation for an optimal school year for students.

How can families get involved? By continuing to register online, district leadership says. Administrators are optimistic that teamwork and community spirit will set the stage for a smooth transition into the new academic year.

Families across LaRue County can access online registration by scanning the QR code accompanying this article. Once they get to the enrollment page, parents can select if they’re a returning family or need to add a new student. Families outside of the school district can also apply through the Out of District portal on the enrollment page.

Current families for LaRue County Schools will still have to complete an Annual Update for their student(s). These Annual Updates provide the schools with the most accurate information including student addresses, communication preferences for parents, updated medical information and more.

The final days of the 2023-24 school year are approaching on the school calendar. While it might seem far in the future, the beginning of the 2024-25 school year and all the wonderful experiences it will hold for students is right around the corner. Families are encouraged to help set next school year off to a great start by completing online registration this month – complete yours today by scanning the QR code.
