Advertisement for Business/Community Leader Representative to Serve on LPC
The LaRue County Board of Education is accepting nominations for any LaRue County business or community leader interested in serving on the district’s Local Planning Committee (LPC), an advisory committee to the local board of education charged with the development of a four (4) year District Facilities Plan (DFP). This committee studies information concerning the district’s buildings, financial information, demographics and other information at its discretion to develop a plan for addressing the district’s construction needs.
If you or someone you know is interested in serving on our LPC, please submit your name and contact information to David Raleigh, superintendent of schools, at email@example.com by Friday, July 31. The local board of education will select two (2) representatives from the list of nominees and/or those expressing interest in serving as business/community leaders on the LPC.
