To be eligible for substitute teaching, you must have a minimum of 64 college credit hours with at least a 2.45 GPA or a valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate or Substitute Teaching Certificate. Your official transcripts or a copy of your teaching certificate should be submitted with your application. Applications for substitute teachers may be submitted at any time during the school year and will be reviewed periodically. Substitutes are hired on an as needed basis.
To be considered for employment as an instructional assistant by LaRue County Schools, Applicants must take and pass the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment (KPA) or provide proof of at least 60 college credit hours.
